NAM (Neural Amp Modeler) High Gain Amp Only - EQ Correction IRs

These IRs are meant to be used with Neural Amp Modeler and the JZIR IR that is found in the _NAM_ folder of every IR pack. NAM has an infinite amount of amp so I cant simply include NAM amps in my usual IR packs. This is a workaround to allow people to use NAM with JZIR.

This FREE IR pack includes 2 folders.

1 - NAM_JZIR_HIGH_GAIN_AMP_ONLY__EQ_CORRECTION

2 - NAM_JZIR__ALBUM_TONES (these are all the free IRs I offer - think of them as a "sampler" of what you would find in the "_NAM_" folder found in all of my other IR packs)

You will need to run these two sets of IRs in SERIES (2 IR loaders, one after the other). This is NOT the typical workflow of blending 2 IRs together like you would normally do in NadIR or any other IR blending plugin. You would want to run 2 separate IR loaders one after the other. The signal chain would look like this:

NAM > IR1 > IR2

IR1 = the EQ Correction. This is the IRs found in this IR pack.

This IR can be loaded into the NAM IR loader. It looks nice and clean that way because you can keep track of the NAM model and the EQ Correction IR in one place and make sure they are both the exact same name (but once you get the workflow down and youre comfortable, feel free to experiment and use the "wrong" one to see how it changes the tone! Its fun!!).

IR2 = the Album Tone which can be found in the NAM_JZIR__ALBUM_TONES folder.

This is also the IR found in the "_NAM_" folder found in all of my IR packs. You would load this IR in the 2nd IR loader (NadIR, MConvolutionEZ, Pulse, etc.). You can also use other 3rd party IRs in this 2nd IR position instead, if you like!

The IR1 in the NAM IR slot will change the EQ profile of NAM model into a very "average" EQ provile. You can use this workflow to run 2 NAM plugins in stereo with 2 different NAM models loaded in each (with their specific EQ Correction IRs loaded in each of them). This will make both NAMs sound very similar EQ-wise so that opens up some tone shaping possibilities while using 2 amps with different "personalities".

The NAM amps that are supported can be found on ToneHunt:
ToneHunt Metal and High Gain Amp-Only models

This is the current list of EQ Correction IRs:

*****This is very experimental at this point so please be patient while the kinks are worked out.

ENJOY!!!
